About this policy
This policy explains the cookies and similar browser-storage technologies used on the Fit2Trade marketing website at fit2trade.com. It does not describe cookies that may be used inside the separate Fit2Trade application unless expressly stated.
Cookies are small files stored by a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, which allows a website to save information in the browser without using a cookie.
What the current marketing site uses
Based on the current redesigned website source, Fit2Trade does not intentionally deploy analytics or advertising cookies on the marketing site.
The website uses static HTML, CSS and limited JavaScript. Hosting and security infrastructure may use technical mechanisms that are strictly necessary to deliver or protect the site; Fit2Trade does not use those mechanisms for behavioural advertising.
Saved pricing quotes
If you use the pricing calculator and select “Save quote”, the website stores the quote details in your browser’s local storage under the key fit2trade-pricing-quote. This allows the saved quote to be restored on that device and browser.
The current website code does not set an automatic expiry for that saved local-storage item. It remains until it is overwritten, the site functionality removes it, or you clear site data in your browser. The saved quote is not, by itself, sent to Fit2Trade merely because it is stored locally.
Forms and external services
Website forms are processed through Fit2Trade’s hosting/form infrastructure when you choose to submit them. A form submission sends the information you enter to Fit2Trade; this is separate from browser storage.
Links to external websites or services may operate under their own cookie and privacy policies once you leave fit2trade.com.
Consent and future changes
Under Irish ePrivacy rules, consent is normally required before non-essential cookies or similar technologies are used. Because the current marketing site does not intentionally deploy analytics or advertising cookies, there is currently no marketing-site consent banner for those categories.
If Fit2Trade later introduces analytics, advertising or other non-essential tracking, we will update this policy and implement the required consent choices before enabling that tracking.
Managing browser data
You can clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Clearing site data will remove any locally saved Fit2Trade pricing quote from that browser.
Browser controls vary by provider and device, so refer to your browser’s privacy or site-data settings for current instructions.
